1946 ADDISON Deco Bakelite & Catalin Tube Radio - Model L2 Summary
Classic Art Deco 1946 Addison Model L2, made in Canada. Addison offered over 30 different color variations of this model making it one of the most sought after complete collections to obtain. Not only did they use bakelite,catalin,polystyrene & plaskon materials in the molding process, they mixed & matched these materials which in turn produced some of the most beautiful sets available during the 1940's.
This set here is the bakelite version with original catalin swirl knobs. It has been meticulously restored to a museum quality set, (which is my goal with each radio I work on) and is ready to display and play! SOLD
