The Radio-Cafe is pleased to offer for your consideration this GORGEOUS 1955 ZENITH Polystyrene "Candy Apple" red plastic tube radio, model R512V FULLY RESTORED inside and out ready to display & play!

~ CABINET ~

This gorgeous Retro Modern Century design is a favorite among collectors especially this deluxe version with the added pre-set push button knobs! This model came in several colors with this one being the most sought after. The cabinet is crack free with only one very tiny chip on the bottom rear side (see pic). Other than a few minor age related wear marks some light polishing marks associated with styrene... it displays wonderfully with a beautiful shine!

The "Dial Beam" bulb is a unique feature which allows the light to move with the dial from the inside producing a very cool glow (see pic). The pre-set buttons can be adjusted to your favorite station from the bottom using tiny screws, where as the far right button when pushed down is for manual tuning.. which is what most owners use. 

When I got this radio in it was in horrible condition but after a week of restoration work I'm extremely pleased how it looks and plays now. Please view all 18 individual photos for your viewing pleasure.

 The restored electronics have been given the same careful attention as the cosmetics to insure excellent playability. I use only the best capacitors and replacement parts available and even show photos of my work so you know the level of quality that goes into the chassis work. SOLD
