The Radio-Cafe is pleased to offer for your consideration this GORGEOUS Pre War BEAUTY manufactured in 1938 for the Zenith 1939 new line of classic designed tube radios.
This black dial model 6D311 is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and has been fully restored inside and out just waiting to be displayed and played!
Robert Budlong the designer definitely hit a home run with this unique "bullet" style set with an extreme wraparound louvered grille,unique front facade,large "D" dial,classy brass pointer and front stacked knobs for controls!
Measuring approx 11" wide x 6" tall x 6.5" deep and with dynamic curves makes it one of the best designed streamline designed radios ever produced! In my own personal opinion, it's Zenith class at its best and will stand out in any collection! The audio reception is excellent and I've included an external antenna wire to improve reception in poor signal areas. SOLD
