The Radio-Cafe is pleased to offer for your consideration this incredible 1955 time capsule find by Arvin. Model 855T, known as the Cosmopolitan in ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION! 

No cracks,chips,repairs,etc,.. and even has all five original Arvin tubes! Plays like it just came from the factory and with no filter hum. Excellent clear strong audio with plenty of volume and a unique "planetary" fine tuning mechanism. The brass plated metal (not plastic) dial pointer acts as a quick tuning dial whereas the knob in front is the fine tuning dial. The fine tuning dial has the smoothest action I've ever felt on a radio. The overall design is first class all the way and will surely demand attention in any radio collection!

The Cosmopolitan model is not an easy one to find to say the least, and especially in this well preserved condition! It's obvious it does not have much playing time on it once I inspected the insides. All original electronics,tubes,cord and one of the best sounding radios I've ever offered. SOLD
